Next-Gen Graphite Shaft: KAIZA MH and KAIZA ML

TOKYO, Japan – Yonex Co., Ltd. is proud to announce the upcoming launch of the third-generation KAIZA MH and KAIZA ML graphite shafts, expanding the acclaimed KAIZA series with models tailored to match individual swing types and performance needs.

Meticulously crafted at Yonex’s own factory in Japan, the KAIZA MH and KAIZA ML represent a new level of shaft innovation. They combine advanced graphite materials with precision engineering to deliver optimized feel, control, and power. These shafts are designed for a wide range of golfers — including Team Yonex athletes Akie Iwai (JPN) and Chisato Iwai (JPN) — as well as a broad spectrum of players worldwide.

Product Highlights

KAIZA MH

Mid-kick shaft featuring high-strength TORAYCA™ M40X graphite at the tip for enhanced ball compression and control. A moderately flexible butt section supports smooth transition and energy storage.

KAIZA ML

Mid-to-tip kick shaft combining TORAYCA™ M40X at the butt for rigidity and 2G-Namd™ Speed at the tip for stable head acceleration and precise impact control.

*1 TORAYCA™ M40X is an advanced graphite fiber from Toray, engineered to achieve both exceptional strength and stiffness.

*2 Namd™ and 2G-Namd™ are proprietary technologies developed by Nitta Corporation, designed to uniformly integrate nano-dispersed graphite nanotubes (CNTs) into graphite fibers.

2G-Namd™ Speed represents an evolution of the original Namd™ technology, transforming its CNT layer structure into a three-dimensional configuration, which dramatically enhances recovery performance after deformation.

Namd™ and 2G-Namd™ are registered trademarks of Nitta Corporation in Japan.

INNOVATION

1.Expanded Lineup for Swing-Type Matching

In response to diverse swing styles, Yonex introduces the mid-kick KAIZA MH and mid-to-tip kick KAIZA ML, enabling precise shaft fitting through advanced customization.

2.Optimized Material Placement for Maximum Performance

Strategic integration of high-performance graphite materials—M40X in key structural zones and 2G-Namd™ Speed in the KAIZA ML—delivers enhanced strength, elasticity, and responsiveness.
